24 April 2006, marks the first day of the academic year. A group of 27 students attended an industrial visit to Singapore Post. Situated at Paya Lebar, SingPost owes their monopolistic building. We were privileged to witness how letters are being processed and mailed within 24 hours. Several SingPost Managerial Executives welcomed us and presented their logistics and service operations, and the different business segments of the company.

SingPost has 62 Post Offices situated island-wide, and they also specialize in courier services, SpeedPost, on-line retailing services, V-Post and financial loan services, EzyCash, Speed Cash and 'James'. Do check out their website: www.singpost.com

As SingPost is having their 'My Stamps' Campaign, we were being offered a cheaper rate at $6 to make our very own stamps! This trip has indeed widened our experience of how mails are being sent.

Here's a tip for you:

If you would like to send a letter and wished to sent the recipients by the next day, please sent by: *CBD Area: 5pm *Non-CBD Area: 7pm
