Celebration of learning 2006 kicks off with its first Prom theme on the last day of the month, 28th February. LT19 was fully packed with numerous graduating students dressed in smart casual outfit. Meanwhile, our "super host" Angeline emceed the show with all her energy and vigor. These were some of the highlights during the event:

*Door Gift
Each graduating student was given a CD with their unique matriculation number "engraved" on it. It consists of a video by the lecturers and a PowerPoint presentation of images that were shot during their 2 years in LOM.

*Project Walkway
The game which requires 1 male and female model to sashay down the walkway in LT 19, and a host who will prove to the judges that their models are the best! Ultimately, from the judging by our very own four flowers (Mrs Gan, Ms Oh, Mrs Wee & Mrs Pang), the Prom King & Queen title and best host was awarded to T05!

*2006 LOM Awards
The anticipated annual LOM awards consists of 6 titles. The results were:
"Siao" Hua & "Siao" Chao Award: Michelle and Javier
Intelligent and "Gu Luck" Award: Daniel
Uniformed Award: Ting ting
Loud Speaker Award (Gold): Lawerence
Loud Speaker Award (Sliver): Yi Nan
Loud Speaker Award (Bronze): Xue Yuan
Most Popular Lecturer Award: Mr Lum Fook Seng (Voted by the graduating students)

*"Your Journey"
A play which maps out the three years journey of a graduating LOM student, Jia Min, along with her close course mates, June and Paul. It shares her feelings, Thoughts and mindsets as a LOM student at each stage in their poly life till she graduates.

*First Ever LOM "Yup Seng"
The event came to close at a high note, where all lecturers and graduating students gathered outside LT 21 and LT 22, and toasted for 3 deafening and thunderous "Yup Seng".

*BBQ at Aranda Country Club
After the event, there was a barbeque held at Aranda Country Club. There were sumptuous barbequed foods (e.g. satay and chicken wings) provided. The lecturers and graduating students ate to their hearts content during that night.

Indeed, all lecturers and graduating students have enjoyed themselves. All applause goes to the main and sub committee of Logistics Interest Group 2006! Well done for all the hard work and effort put into organizing this event! (DO Check out the pictures!)
